Panorama Photography Group (PPG)
The PPG is a place to learn new techniques, explore shooting locations, and share photos and experiences with people of all skill levels and a wide range of equipment, from phone cameras to sophisticated DSLRs.
The PPG began in 2017 with 15 Panorama residents who shared coffee and their love of photography and has grown into a group of like-minded individuals who are still learning and enjoying the wonders around them.
We meet monthly in the Quinault Coffee Room, at 10:00am on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Meetings consist of presentations by professional photographers or Panorama residents.
To join the mailing list, receive Zoom or Kya link information or ask more general PPG-related questions, email Panoramaphotographygroup@gmail.com.
You also can find information about the PPG in the articles and on the Activities and Events calendar in the monthly Panorama News, as well as on the Kya announcements. For even more current information, Click Here to view our PPG forum on KYA.
Every year, the PPG plans several walkabouts and photoshoots around Panorama. We also plan off-campus trips starting in the Spring. Click Here to see current outings. If you know of a special place, help us plan the next outing. We love to hear from you!
After we take these marvelous photos, we create a yearly calendar. Member volunteers select from hundreds of images submitted by our photographers. Our calendars are available for purchase by the community in the gift shop.
Our photographers have participated in the Washington Center for the Performing Arts (WCPA) exhibit and the various online and in-house Panorama exhibits.
Come and join us at one of our meetings or outings. You will be glad you did!
